Community Guidelines 👋
Welcome to Huddleverse! We’re so glad you’re here. As you navigate through this space, we want to remind you that your well-being is our top priority. We’ve always believed in the power of social support and connection, and hope that this community can be a transformative space where you feel safe, heard, and understood. With mental health content as our core, some heavy stuff will be inevitable, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be fun. We focus on emanating a sense of warmth, simplicity, comfort, and healing in all things.
Nevertheless, throughout the years, we’ve seen our fair share of rebels and trolls. But for the most part, how relationships have flourished, purpose bloomed into life, and nothing more than sheer love embracing Huddleverse. All these were made possible with the help of our lovely moderators, but of course, mainly stemming from non-other than our inspiring community. That’s exactly how we want it to remain as we expand and blossom into a future with you in it. As you join in on the huddling, we ask that you keep a few things in mind.
Here’s to making the world a better place, starting from you and I.
– Team Huddleverse
General Guidelines 🪐
Be supportive & positive
We are a supportive community! Remember that everyone’s experience is unique and valid. Please keep your comments kind, respectful and any advice constructive.
Use trigger warnings (TW)
Any posts dealing with self-harm, suicidal thoughts, abuse, etc., should have a “Trigger Warning” disclaimer at the top.
Do not discuss on topics pertaining to politics, religion or race
Huddleverse is not a forum for topics dealing with Politics, Religion, or Race. We constantly emphasize the importance of keeping Huddleverse predominantly mental health focused, so let’s maintain it that way.
Do not ask more questions than others are comfortable to answer
Please be mindful of the questions you pose to other group members. Always exercise caution and consider whether it is appropriate to bring up certain things with others as we all have different backgrounds and experiences. Please respect the other person’s privacy and refrain from probing if they are uncomfortable or hesitant to respond.
No unreadable or inappropriate profiles
This includes usernames, profile pictures, and “about me” biographies
No monetary requests of any form is allowed
Strictly no soliciting or begging of any monetary forms is allowed in this community.
Take a break if you are feeling worn out. We’d love for you to huddle as much as you can but try getting out in the sun sometimes instead of always using social media!
Hate speech or offensive behavior/conduct
Do not engage in any forms of hateful communication or behavior. This includes but is not limited to acts that is intended to demean, intimidate, or harm someone based on their race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other personal characteristic.
Violent threats or conduct
Threats of violence are any statements or actions that suggest or imply that cyber/physical harm will be inflicted upon an individual or group of people. These types of threats are never acceptable and can have serious consequences, both legally and personally. It is important to remember that violence is never an appropriate way to resolve conflicts or disputes, and that there are always healthier and more productive ways to cope with anger and other strong emotions.
False reports can lead to the wrong people being blamed or punished, and they can also damage the credibility and integrity of the reporting system. It is important to always be truthful and accurate when making a report. If you have any doubts or concerns about the accuracy of your information, it is better to seek clarification or additional information before submitting a report.
Harassment is any behaviour that is intended to intimidate, degrade, abuse, or otherwise interfere with the well-being of another person. This includes but is not limited to bullying, stalking, sharing someone’s personal information without their consent, or repeatedly sending unwanted messages.
Trolling or intentionally provoking others
Trolling is destructive behaviour that can ruin the user experience for others in Huddleverse. It includes but is not limited to intentionally posting inflammatory, irrelevant, or off-topic messages with the aim of causing disruption or inciting an emotional response, impersonation with aim of deceiving, or just being an ass in general.
We’re all for you having an alias should you want to remain anonymous. However, do not pretend to be someone else, create a fake account that purports to be them, or take after a person’s likeness with malicious intent. Be yourself!
Avoid actions intended to harm another user’s account or to obtain unauthorized access to them
This includes but is not limited to hacking, DDOS, scamming, and impersonating Huddleverse staff.
Unacceptable content 🙅♀️
Child endangerment content is not tolerated in Huddleverse, or anywhere for that matter. This includes but is not limited to any material that depicts, promotes, or encourages child abuse, sexual exploitation, or other harmful behavior towards children. Where appropriate, we report child endangerment to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC).
False and misleading information
We encourage open and honest communication and debate, but we also expect users to be truthful in their interactions. Harmful misinformation can cause confusion, misunderstandings, and can even lead to harm if it is taken as fact. This includes but is not limited to distributing false or unverified information or misrepresenting the truth or presenting information in a deceptive or misleading manner.
Illegal activities and pirated content
We expect all users to respect the laws and intellectual property rights of others. Do not engage in general activities against the law or share pirated content, such as unauthorized copies of movies, music, software, or other copyrighted materials.
No obscene Text, Links, GIFs, or Stickers, please,
Explicit obscene and pornographic content does not have a place in our server. This includes videos, gifs, or still images depicting explicit sexual actions, whether real or illustrated, as well as detailed verbal descriptions of explicit sexual acts.
Suicide and self-harm
Do not encourage or promote self-harm or suicide or share graphic or triggering content related to it. If you or someone you know is struggling with thoughts of self-harm or suicide, we encourage you to seek help from a trusted friend, family member, or mental health professional. There are also many resources available to provide support, such as the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline (1-800-273-TALK) in the US.
Terrorism or extremism
Please do not do promote, engage, or be involved in anything related to terrorism, extremism, radicalism, and violence. Such groups are not allowed in Huddleverse. The use of accounts for the purpose of furthering such ideologies or activities is forbidden.
Sexual exploitation and nudity
This refers to the sexual abuse or exploitation of individuals, including but not limited to sharing or distributing sexually explicit or suggestive material without the consent of all individuals depicted, posting, or sharing sexually explicit or suggestive material involving minors, or engaging in or promoting sexual exploitation or abuse such as human trafficking or prostitution. Keep your clothes on too.

Love Huddleverse and yourself! 🧡
Finally, please keep in mind that this is a community built on real people with real struggles socially supporting each other, not a substitute for professional help. If you are in crisis or in need of urgent support, please reach out to a trusted resource, such as a mental health professional or a crisis line. But if you just need a good huddle or a safe haven, we’ve got your back (so does Penyoo and pals!).
